As the wedding photographer, I consider as important both – the wedding portraits which should emphasize beauty of bride and love and pleasure of wedding couple and wedding photojournalism where is important to capture atmosphere and emotions of wedding day.

Wedding preparations, what not to forget – practical advise for future wedding couples on issues related to wedding photography:
- On which parts of wedding you want a photographer (only wedding portraits and ceremony or also reception and wedding preparations).
- Time schedule – when and where should photographer come and estimated duration.
- Do you have some special requirements regarding place of exterior wedding portraits, e.g. castle, park, city downtown, blossom field, lake ...?
- Which parts of wedding day you want a photographer to be present on (only wedding portraits and ceremony or also reception and wedding preparations)?
- Time schedule – when and where should photographer come and estimated duration.
- Do you have some special requirements regarding place of exterior wedding portraits, e.g. castle, park, city downtown, blossom field, lake ...?
- Which kind of outputs you wish from wedding day from photographer. He or she will advise you for sure and inform you about the possibilities. E.g. you may wish photos on DVD only or also photo book, printed photos, DVD slide show with music background, digital wedding album or web gallery.
- Do you want select photos for retouching, conversion to BW or sepia or for some other special digital processing by yourself or let this task on consideration of photographer?
- It is good to assign person from guests which will be in charge of group photos – photographer does not know your guests and family members so it would be helpful to have such person if you want various group shots with your family and friends.
- If there are planned some special events during reception it is recommended to inform photographer about these events and about estimated time schedule.
